As of 10:05 AM today, our Indiegogo campaign met its goal! I've been highly skeptical of the whole 'crowd funding' thing since it burst onto the scene a couple years ago. But now, having gone through the process, I have this to say:
It is challenging.
It is humbling.
It is an absolutely incredible feeling to have people who have been a part of your life from kindergarten on support your project.
I'll admit, my eyes got oddly watery at times during the campaign as folks stepped up to support this admittedly very personal project. And now, thanks to them, I can pay the team, rent the space and put up an entertaining show. Right after I finish dancing with Calvin 'n Hobbes.
Can't wait to welcome everyone to the show!
